Hi, all. Here's an interesting observation I made about WE on my system.
When I installed version 6, I selected the option to start WE manually.
Knowing that I'd selected this option, I would always start it manually, and
I'd get the message that WE was already running. Well, last night while
booting up the computer, I left the room for a few minutes, and came back to
find that WE was talking, even though I hadn't manually started it. I
checked my startup selection, and it's on the right one for it to start
manually. So for some reason, the startup selection isn't "taking", even
though the right selection shows on my system. When our computer was built,
the builder made two profiles, one for me with WE starting automatically,
and one for my husband, with nothing about WE, since my husband is sighted.
So I'm wondering if there's something in the way my profile was created that
doesn't get deleted or changed even with the WE removal tool. Just thought
I'd share my observation. I'll be interested to see what happens when I get
my 7.01 CD. I'd like to get WE working like it used to.
