I would recommend to install the vendors driver of the sound card and not the one which came with Vista. I dont believe that the grafic driver makes the problem. Ralf Kefferpuetz Germany MSN/Live: [email protected] Aim: RalfKatEMC Skype: rkefferpuetz7747
_____ From: Andrea Sherry [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, May 24, 2009 10:26 AM To: GW Info Subject: Hesitating Speech I have Vista Home Premium on a system with 4 gigs of DDR2 RAM with a 3ghz processor. The motherboard-M3A78-emh- has built-in sound and video which appears to be an ATI Catalyst card. My speech is flaky ie. periodic hesitation. My WE version is 7.01. I am trying to diagnose the situation whether it is memory-based or something concerning the video card. I have run the Vista Memory testr. I have all up-to-date drivers and Vista updates. I have installed the latest ATI update. But the flakiness still occurs. Any ideas? Cheers Andrea If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
