Have you fared any better with 7.1, assuming you have taken the upgrade? I
have seen a similar problem, but for me it did not start happening until I
upgraded to Office 2007. Eventually I would find Word hogging the CPU and
the system slowing to a crawl. Eventually the problem would clear but it
was very frustrating. There seems to have been some improvement in that
department with the Wineyes upgrade. I don't know what was going on there
or whether there was truly a connection. The problem was never as severe on
my work machine which has a faster processor. I just did the upgrade at
work and I'm interested to see if some of the table issues improve.separate
issue I brought up on list.

Subject: win eyes and word typing

I am using win eyes 7.01 and office 2003 and working in ms word.

Some setting has been changed, it had to be me, but, I don't know what.

In typing info into a blank word document and after perhaps a paragraph or
two, my typing is faster then win eyes responds.

After a page, what I type goes on to the document, but, the audio is away
behind.

I am gusing but, is it the keyboard settings or verbosity.

Lost in the computer
