Peter, I used we 6.1 about 2 years ago with what I think was internet explorer 6 or something like that. Anyways, it might be a good idea to upgrade to we 7.1 and then upgrade to internet explorer 8 so you get the most out of your machine. Hope this helps. Best regards, Tyler Juranek
