1. I saved it as text. 2. I decided the filename was ambiguous to me, and tried to change it via F2, and discovered I couldn't alter it at all.
3. I tried F2 on other filenames, and the problem above does not carry over to other filenames.. 4. I opened Doug's message, saved as text in MY Documents, and highlighted the entire message and copied it to the clipboard, then opened another blank file with Alt-n, and pasted the message from the Clipboard, then saved this new copy to a different filename. I then abandoned both copies of this message about the new script, and brought up the filelist again in Word, and tried altering the filename of the new copy using the F2 method. Again, I couldn't do it! Someone please explain what is going on. Does Doug have the nack of sending messages whose filenames cannot be edited?
