This is one that I have dealt with recently myself. First, you can
start by maximizing the window with ALT-SPACEBAR-X. Then you go into
the View menu, and disable the preview pane and the folder
treeview. Then you go into the View menu and uncheck any
toolbars. That should do it. if it doesn't, then you will need a
sighted person to move stuff aside with the mouse. The reason you
aren't reading everything is because of the stuff in the way.
