Jennifer, it's a known problem.
there's a macro, named "kill window eyes", which may help you when this happens. it puts a shortcut on your desktop (which only works for xp), which will kill the window eyes process. you minimize all windows with windows-M when the loss of speech happens, press k to move to this shortcut, and press enter. you could assign it a unique keystroke which would work better. it will kill the window eyes process, and you wait a few seconds, and press the hot key which starts window eyes up again. the kill window eyes macro also has a hot key which is supposed to do this, but I've found in cases where this happens, all macros in window eyes are also hung, so you are left using this desktop shortcut. hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: Jennifer Thompson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, September 08, 2009 11:58 AM To: [email protected] Subject: window eyes 7.1 locking up Hi has anyone experienced window eyes 7.1 locking up?
