Hi, You can switch to laptop lay out, but I would try this before you
do.
On the bottom left corner of your keybord you will find an fn key. It
should be first or second from the left depending on the location of
your control key on that side.
hold down the fn key and press the letters,
m jkl uio 789 /.
You should find they give you insert, bottom left, mouse line down,
bottom right and so on. It might take some experimentation on your
part and a little while to get the feel of it, but I find this a much
better approach than switching to a laptop layout.
If you switch to laptop you will lose a lot of keystrokes for window-
eyes functions. You will have to learn both a desktop and laptop
layout. Plus, you will still have to master the shape of the keys,
since the laptop layout uses the keybord similarly to the built in
number pad.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
I am proud to say I have converted over to window eyes from JFW.
Since I am in the infant stage of window eyes and have only had this
software for a few weeks, my question is how can I set it to the
laptop
configuration since I do not have a desktop/external numpad?
Please be concise with instructions, seeing that I am very new to
window eyes, thank you!
