  Hi Jeff

That was the trick. Either up or down arrow will move between columns .
Why didn't I think of it. I know there is at least one other person who will
be happy to find this info out. I'm using it on Word 2003, but it will come in
handy when I use 2007 on my laptop.

  Many thanks
  Brenda

I think alt-down arrow and alt-up arrow will go to the next and previous
columns.

When these keys are press they say next and previous object, but they seem
to work for columns at least in word 2007.

I could be wrong though, I just recently went kicking and screaming from my
friend WordPerfect 12 to Office 2007 at work!

    Hi

I just tried INSERT-arrow, and it does not work. Thanks anyway. The only
success I have had is ALT-period to go to column 2 and ALT-comma to go to
column 1, but I have to be at the line just before the column (bottom of column
1 to get to column 2). The only other way around it is to do a search IF I
know what to search for in the column I want to go to, or go to end of page and
then arrow up. I wish there was an easier way.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

    Brenda

Try Insert left and right arrows.

      Hi

How do you get from the top of column #1 to the top of column #2 in MS
Word 2003. For example, I am making a 2-column grocery list and want to see
what is in column 2. I tried Alt-period and alt-comma, as in the W-E manual,
but I have to arrow down to the bottom of list #1 before I can cross over, and
I don't want to go to the bottom first.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Thanks

      Brenda
