Greetings:

It appears that loss of speech is tied to my Outlook 2007 reminders. I have
Office 2007 running on XP pro. When my password protected screen saver kicks
in, and there is a reminder up, then Window-Eyes doesn't come up speaking.

The sound card is still working, because when I press Windows Key+R for the Run
dialogue and enter a bunch of gibberish I get the error sound.

When I press Windows Key+R and type narrator to call up Microsoft's narrator,
then Window-Eyes often begins to speak.

One indication that there is a reminder is when I press a key to have the
screen saver come up with the password dialogue and Window-Eyes doesn't speak
at that time, then I know a reminder came up and that I can expect no speech.
