Do you have the homer script installed as well. It is required to have kill windoweyes to work correctly. Go to www.gwmicro.com/sc, search for homer in the search box, and find something like homer version 6.9.

I installed both of these scripts and it works correctly for me.

Hi Ted:
This is just a guess here, but maybe control-alt-f4 conflicts with
something else that is running on your machine. I have seen, for
instance, two scripts using the same keystroke for two entirely
different purposes.
If you go into the Script Manager and highlight the Kill Window-eyes
script, you can tab over to the "help and options" button and press
the spacebar. You will then get a dialog box which contains a Hotkey
Manager. Just tab to it and press the spacebar. This hotkey manager
works just like the one in the Window-eyes control panel. Once you
are in the hotkey manager for the "Kill Window-eyes" script, you can
highlight the offending hotkey and change it to whatever you want.

 Dear List:
I am using Window-Eyes with Windows XP. When I was filling out an
unemployment claim, the computer died when I clicked on the link to print. I couldn't remember the keystrokes to use to kill Window-Eyes, so I turned off the computer and then decided I better try to test it for next time. I checked that Kill Window-Eyes was running with script manager. Then, I went
to the Internet to simulate my working environment. Then, I did
control-alt-F4 to try to kill Window-Eyes. Nothing happened except that the
address bar came up. Shouldn't this script have killed Window-Eyes, and
then I would do a control-alt-W to get it going again? What am I missing?
Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
