i have an asus, and did double the ram. i got a 2 GB kingston chip
from Amazon for $24.

On top of rewriting Browse Mode, I am not sure how they intend to
correct these bugs. If you ask me, GWMicro: Doug and all of you, you
throught Window-Eyes7 was stable, and are completely proven wrong. All
those error reports blowing up in your face should prove it. Although,
JAWS11 isn't doing much better than you are. From what I have been
told recently, Windows7 is for the present, totally inaccessible, and
that to even use it, we all must use NVDA or other applications that
do not use display hooks.
These are just the opinions of several people, and apparently some
folks are losing there JAWS miror drivers.
Has anyone attempted using JAWS11 and Window-Eyes on a Windows7
system to insure taht the programs are getting along?
Whatever happened to manufacturers insuring compatibility and peice of
mind for all? Whatever happened to equality, where companies worked
hand in hand, to insure that users got what they wished?
At the moment, I am torn between using XP, or the Linux operating
system, until such issues are resolved.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what I've posted, as far as the
over-all accessibility?
Doug, Arron, and the rest: Maybe you got your Window-Eyes Windows7
support fine, but obviously you folks messed up in your coding
somewhere along the line while pushing it out. Perhaps you ...messed
up a bit, and rushed it out a bit too soon?
I have seen a lot of reports in witch people appear to be losing
speech, and other things.
If any of these things can be confirmed by GW-Micro staff directly on
this list, or to me personally, that would be wonderful to know that
Window-Eyes is still having error reports fixed and bugs patched or
whatever.
I'm also subscribed to GW-scripting, and if that is any indication,
you folks still appear to have major scripting issues.
Am I right in any of what I have stated so far? Maybe I am, maybe I am
wrong. Feel free to correct me--it wouldn't be the first time I have
said something only to be shown that I was wrong in what I was talking
about, but I doubt I'm wrong on all accounts.
I'm sure if users are losing speech, and GW-Micro has received error
reports validating this, that this will be fixed in Window-Eyes8.0 or
whatever the next release is. Or, am I wrong?

In the meantime, I'm sticking with XP until I know for sure that
Windows7 is accessible to all without any bugs whatsoever, and that
the screen-reading experience is a smooth process for all.
