The reality, though, is that we are living in an era where we are told not to just go to an unexplained URL on the basis of someone's say-so, even if it is a trusted source. In short, we are told that if we don't know very specifically why we are being told to go to a URL, we should be suspicious. Of course, GW Micro wouldn't direct anyone to a malicious site, that goes without saying, and I'm not for a second trying to suggest otherwise. but I respectfully think that saying "if it says it's from us, just go there" is an unwise prescription.
