I wouldn't bother with AVG, just get Security Essentials and don't worry
about these issues.

Hi list, I formatted my laptop yesterday, and installed all that I had on
it except avg, and all is fine, so it is avg or so it seems. I will try
installing avg 8 today, and see how it is.
