Thanks for replying but I already tried that and even tried a complete clean
reinstall of Windows 7.  Nothing has helped so far.

Have you thought that it was a bad install of your initial window-eyes?
Sometimes it's been recommended that to reinstall window-eyes but perhaps
that isn't your problem. I just thought I would throw that in there as I
have never had that problem.
