Hey Shannon. I think the reason why you are experiencing pauses even though there's no punctuation is because Nuance wanted to make Eloquence sound more like the Realspeak SAPI 5 synthesizers. I have both Eloquence and Realspeak voices and I've noticed the two do the same thing. So I doubt that this latest patch would solve this problem because GW Micro doesn't make Eloquence, Nuance does. GW Micro only produces the DecTalk Access 32 synthesizer.
