Yeah I know what you mean when some screen readers don't pick up things that a
specific one might. Like for example, when I'm watching videos on YouTube or
when I'm watching an NBA game on channelsurfing.net, Window-Eyes fails to find
a button or link for full screen, and when it does, it refuses to activate the
button by pressing enter on it and you can't get at it with the mouse keys
because A, GW Micro has this stupid idea about not being able to route the
mouse to the cursor when in browse mode, and B, when you use the mouse keys to
try and click on it, the mouse doesn't pick it up. So what I usually end up
doing is exitting Window-Eyes and start up System Access. Unfortunately I have
6 or 7 days left in the demo of SA so I won't be able to do that much longer.
Wish there was a way that I could actually buy it but I doubt for buying a
month subscription for the $40 or whatever it costs, it probably won't let you
use Paypal and they probably don't accept E Cheques. I'm not going back to Jaws
because I'm still ticked off that it crashes some SAPI 5 synthesizers when I
want to use them on a regular basis.
