Shannon,

Is this program available somewhere online so someone can look at it? I'm not sure how adaptable a hyperactive window would be to a dynamically-changing part of the screen, but I'm confident a small script could get you the info you needed with no trouble. I do have scripting experience and would be willing to take a look.

best regards,
Steve

Hello,
I have been reading the manual and need help with user window coordinates.
I have tried to get a piece of the window to be surrounded by a user window and am having a great bit of trouble. I then tried to use a hyper window around some of this text and am still having trouble. When it comes to setting the coordinates for either window do I have to make sure that the mouse is in full screen active window or user window? If I have the mouse in any of these different modes the xy coordinates are different in relation to the full screen user window or the active window. Some times the boundaries of the user window I want should have the top left coordinate of a x 113 and y -15 relative to the active window
and the bottom right should have a x= 254 and y= 2.
I just can not get WE to see the text in this area of the screen on it's own. The funny thing is If I could manage to get the mouse to this information in time before it disappears I could read it with the mouse. I can't get the hyper window to react to route the mouse to it and then activate the read line either.
I am so frustrated with this I could pull out my hair.
Does any one have any ideas as to why I can't get user windows and or hyper windows to work to capture text that pops up for a short time on the screen.
The window does very in size but is always in the laterally same place.
I thought that a Float window might be the answer but I can't figure out how to work them. Help is welcome I am totally stumped and ready to make this computer a great paper weight. Grimis
