I would forget about Aim altogether and download an all in one client. Like
for example, I have one called T Man's Talking Miranda where it not only does
it have WLM, Aim, and Yahoo, but it also has support for G-Talk and Facebook
chat. And, it's preconfigured, which means there's no scripts to run, it just
uses your SAPI 5 synthesizer. If you'd like it, I can send it through dropbox.
