It would appear that Windows 7 itself has a bug where all sound is lost thus making it seem that WE has stopped talking. When this loss of sound happens you can still bring up the WE menu bar and close WE but a restart of WE does not resolve the problem. The only solution I have found is a reboot of Windows 7. There is a small program called microsoftfixit50131.msi to resolve sound issues but I have ran this program and still have had the loss of sound. I think GW is aware of this Windows problem and I hope they are talking with Microsoft to resolve the issue.
