having it in the system tray removes it from the alt tab order. there are days and weeks at a time that I don't have any need for the window-eyes control panel. so having it take up space in the alt+tab order just takes up a little more time getting to the tasks I am working on.

once again this only works if you have window-eyes set to not run in the system tray. the way to always get to the control panel is to hit control backslash. then if you want to exit the program you can hit alt+f4. so as you can see control insert f4 is one command where opening the control panel and then hitting alt+f4 is two.

Jim, all you have to do to turn it off is to Alt-Tab to it and press
Alt-f4. To turn it back on all you do is and Alt-Ctrl-W. hth Sarah
