Hi Chris and Everyone,
Well, we got the job done, but without speech. Then, on the CD
there's this folder or file that says something about "files being
written to the disc." It also had the folder that I copied, and I did
successfully play the data CD but I'm certainly not happy with
Windows Seven CD burning Capabilities with Window-Eyes.
I learned something else very important.
That is, if you have updates that need to be installed, don't try
anything until you have installed those updates. I couldn't install
anything until I did the Windows Seven updates.
So, please tell me what you all are using to burn CD's in Windows
Seven with Window-Eyes. I need to burn CD's and I don't know if Nero
is accessible with Windows Seven.
Not only that, but I zipped up a file several times yesterday with
Just Zip It, and I can not find that file. I haven't a clue where
Windows Seven put my zipped up files. I looked everywhere, and
Windows says zero files, meaning it can't find my zipped file by the
title I typed in.
Thanks much.

Hey Pat, this is one of my beefs about w7, it's cd burning native
facility sucks.
I have yet to find a replacement I truly like, I tried an old
version of prisey, which is good about working with new burners and
platforms without needing drivers, and it worked ok, but I really
like nero 6 under xp, and the new nero stuff is so bloated I just
don't like it anymore.
But so far, the cd burning for w7 for me is a looser.

Hi Everyone,
But, my question is still, have any of you successfully burned a CD
with Window-Eyes and Windows Seven, using it's own CD burner
program? I tried this several times yesterday, with no success.
Finally, I had my loving Vernon, who is sighted help me. He was
doing this, when Window-Eyes just stopped talking, and so I really
don't know how to do this yet, as I was not successful in doing
this with Window-Eyes.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks much.

I AGREE, WINDOWS 7 IS VERY COOL. THE SEARCH BOX IS RATHER NICE AND YOU
CAN GET USED TO THE INTERFACE VERY EASILY.

Definitely. I think Windows 7 on the whole is accessible. Microsoft has
clearly thought accessibility through and through, and it's one of the
reasons why I love Windows 7 over even XP.
