Very similar to my own issues.
Two PCs, both running WE 7.2 with IE8 and all relevant Microsoft patches. Win 7 Pro exhibits this behaviour frequently, but not in a distinct patter. In fact I unload WE and re-load it to get speech back. Other apps do not seem to suffer from this. Win XP Pro SP3 does not exhibit this behaviour. (only recently upgraded to IE8 at work, so could not test this out before.) . Regards, John.
