Hello, to adjust the colums the way you want you need to click the graphic which is farthest to the right on the line which contains the current column headers such as subject, from, and date. When you do this, a context type menu opens and you can use down arrows to choose what you want to see. Next the column headers you choose will appear just after subject, from, and date. Using the Window-Eyes drag and drop hot key, you can re-order them how you want. Also, there are some browse mode problems with the current 3.1 versions of Thunderbird. You may consider reverting to 3.0.6 for now. The link is below.
