While I agree with you on the script, it doesn't help in this situation. What seems to happen is that pages don't seem to load entirely. When you hit a certain point in the page, the page finishes loading and jumps you back to the start of the page. I get this in Amazon a lot and on a lot of other pages. It had gone away for a long time, but is back now. I am not sure that this is a WE problem and not a FF one. I solved the problem in the past by increasing my Firefox cache, but my cache is already massive, so I don't think increasing it again will help.

I don't know if this is even possible, but a nice feature would be a setting that holds focus where you currently are whatever loading and reloading is going on in the background.
