Hi, First, try uninstalling WE from the control pannel! If you then cannot
get a clean installation of WE with your CD, use your CD of WE and follow
the prompts to the advanced options. I think you can tab to them from the
welcome message. I believe there is an option that lets you remove WE in
the Advanced section. I would use it as a last resort, though.

Subject: Removal Tool

Hi everyone:

Can someone please tell me how to use the Window-Eyes emergency removal tool

to remove a newly installed copy of W E 7.2 from a laptop running W7 64 bit?

The clean installation of Window-Eyes seemed to go o k, but once installed W

E does not seem to be fully functional and is exhibiting some strange
behavior. For one thing, I can't make W E load on its own, I have to use
the hot key to load it every time that I start the computer. When trying to

access the manual from the W E control panel, pressing enter and f6 on a
section does not open that section. Alt-F4 does not close programs. I am
new to both W7 and W E 7.2 but this behavior seems to indicate that there is

a problem with W E or with the new H P laptop. I guess that re installing
Window-Eyes would be the logical first step to discover what the problem is.

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.
