Roy,
Typically the manufacturer of the display will create the braille driver
and assign the default keys. This is the norm simply because who knows
their braille display better? However, in the case of Freedom
Scientific, they have chosen to do neither. We have created the braille
driver but the default keys have been done by others and nobody has
stepped forward to create defaults for the new flavor of the Focus
displays in order to take advantage of the extra keys. We have never
even seen the display.
Regards,
Doug

are there any future plans to support more of the Focus 40 Blue's
features e.g typing in perkins mode?
thanks very much
Roy.
