Hi, if you bring up the list of colums to add or remove, press up arrow once and there is a reset to defaults. Press enter on that and it should restore to original settings. Worst case, you can totally start over by deleting the Thunderbird folder in %appdata%, but then you have to set up all your accounts, contacts, and settings. i suaully do that after copying out my junk information and address book since I don't need to save the mail because I use IMAP.
