If you are running and liking a lot of legacy
software, do yourself a big favor and stick with xp.
Xp imulation can work in some cases, but it is
not the same, that's why it's called imulation.

I am looking at a pretty sweet Seagate 1.5TB and
was wondering as I work on the skinny client
left behind to fend for itself, what about going
ahead and doing the upgrade to Windows 7. Then
I got thinking about all the relatively old
legacy software I run that might not work under
Win7. Then someone mentioned a program called
Parallel thats lets you run multiple o/s which
you can toggle back and forth between much like
alt tab fast switching between open windows. As
opposed I guess to actually having the option of o/s only at startup.
So I asked the guy had he ever run such a
configuration with a screen reader in the
mix? And of course he said, quite eloquently, quote huh? end quote.
I havent even done the first bit of research on
it, but thought I would drop this note on my way out to do just that.
Hopefully when I get back
