You can get the files to show up in a list by selecting view and
pressing enter on either list or details.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to make this work across the board.
I have to check it on occasion, for other folders.

I recently installed Windows 7 professional addition and Window-Eyes
7.2 on a new H P 64 bit laptop. I am in the process of learning W7
and getting use to W-E 7.2. While using Windows XP I got in the habit
of using (My Computer) for file management rather than Windows
Explorer. At this point I'm finding using explorer to be the most
challenging part of Windows 7. I understand how to use the tree view
and the list view and I think that I have configured the file and
folder view and options in Explorer correctly. I copied a couple of
large folders, each containing about 100 Word and Excel files, into
(My Documents) so that I could practice launching, loading, moving and
deleting files. When I get either of the folders open in the list
view of Explorer, I can only arrow down through 4 or 5 of the files
before the down-arrow key stops moving down or up, Windows dings, and
I can't move down any further to access the rest of the files in the
list. I tried moving down using the page-down key and the end key but
nothing happens. When I read the active window on the screen with
shift-ctrl-w I can hear 30 or 40 files being read in the list, but I
can only arrow through 4 or 5 of the items on the list. The down
arrow stops moving, Windows dings and I can't access any more files.
, I don't know if this is a scrolling issue or if I'm running into a
screen window boundary. I've looked through the control panel in W7
and the W-E Manual and can't find anything that might cause this
problem. I'm sure that there is a simple and obvious answer to this
problem but so far I haven't been able to figure it out. I would
appreciate hearing any thoughts that anyone might have on resolving
this issue.
Thanks for any help that you can provide
