Browse mode applications such as internet explorer are different from normal programs. When browse mode is turned on, when using the internet, the links, etc. are in the browse mode buffer. So you might not be hearing what the sighted person is seeing. With browse mode off, as when you are filling in edit fields, you and the sighted viewer should be looking at the same area of the screen. Hope this helps, Jeff Weiss
