Hi,

Did you try setting Thunderbird to send emails as plain text rather than html?

Also, was the wrong text definitely appearing on screen or was it just that Window-Eyes wasn't reading the text correctly?

Regards.

Ian

Hi,
I had to scrap Thunderbird, because it kept putting the wrong letters
together in my name.
Instead of Gil, it kept putting Gii, and it was very hard to try and fix.
I tried changing fonts and stuff, but no good.
I wish I could find Thunderbird version 3.6 to see if it does the same
thing.
From version 3.1 and following, I had to change the font to times new
roman to even get it to read my emails right once I have composed them.
This doesn't happen in either Windows Live Mail or Outlook 2007.
