I just upgraded a couple of computers to Internet Explorer 8, and when I start
it, focus is always on the URL of the home page instead of on the page itself.
I
can SHIFT-TAB and get onto the page, but I am wondering if there is a way to
skip this step and have the page load as it did in Internet Explorer 6. If I
press
TAB instead of SHIFT TAB, I encounter a refresh button, a "Live Search" edit
box, an open search in new window, a Favorites button, and then the page
itself.
What is strange is that several JFW users I know say they have never seen this.
I have tried disabling various toolbars and add-ins but without success. Is
this
a case where JFW is sending a keystroke to avoid this, or is there something
obvious that I am missing? While not a big deal, it is causing some confusion
for
someone I'm working with, and the extra step annoys me.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
