Hi: It sounds like it might be, but there is a possibility that "Essentials" might refer to Microsoft Security Essentials. However, I solved the problem after a couple of tries. I uninstalled the new version of Windows Live Essentials and installed the older version of Windows Live Mail from the file that one of the listers uploaded to Sendspace. It took a couple of tries, for some reason, but I finally got it, and the good news is, that I didn't lose any of my email folders or the emails contained in them.
