Found out the problem with Eloquence, for my way of using speech. First it was Spanish or Italiano. Second, Eloquence is 10 times faster than Ivona and Scansoft wich was set to rate 16. I was thinking it was something wrong with the speech synthesizer. I had the Eloquence script fix.
I was thinking about Martins fix regarding 96/192 kHz. Since i have a usb soundcard. I think it is best to use usb. Then the voice synthesizer automatically is sendt through usb. It seems impossible to send WE through the native soundcard of the laptop and at the same time using usb. What do you think? Some good accessible software that can route WE through native and the music through usb? Not saying i will try this at once, but maybe later some time. The only problem with this solution is (beside the additional cable) is an anoiing sound because of the bad quality of the internal card or problems with the power adapter - could not solve this. Windows doesn't natively support upsampling beyond 48kHZ. The sound card will have to take care of this when it's opened at such a high rate. I'm guessing that for the sake of performance, most high-end card manufacturers don't bother. Truthfully, you oly need the device open so high if you intend to record or play back audio at 24/192. Otherwise, Windows has to up and downsample your audio. If you aren't recording or playing back native high fidelity sound, then keep the card open at 48K.
