Tom,

I'm sure you know this, but soft page breaks aren't anything that really
have to be made to work. I can check this out next week when I'm back at
work, but, it sounds like the position indicator isn't reading correctly,
and there are known issues with WE and the office 2010 suite, which doesn't
use MSAA, but uses UIA (brand new) instead for it's communication with
screen readers.

this means unfortunately, the osm (or the picture of what's on the screen)
when you go to review it with the mouse cursor, or read part of it in some
way, is having some problems in office 2010.

like I said I'll check it out, but there's no way I know of where your soft
page breaks wouldn't work; try printing a two page test document for example
and see if you get two pages as expected.

sorry I can't be more help.

Chip

Subject: MS Word 2010 Help

I can't figure out how to make soft page breaks work in Word 2010. Wh;en I
get to the bottom of page 1, the position indicator says that I am -0.01
from the left margin and 10.01 inches from the top. By changing settings in
the Breaks menu under Page Layout, I can get the inch counter to keep going
up to over 20 inches, but the page count won't move, and text can't be read.
Sorry for the off-topic post, but I haven't found help in MS Word or the
internet with this. Thanks. I am using Window-Eyes 7.2 and Windows XP Home
Service Pack 3.
