Hi Don,

You need to first highlite the thumb drive, in Windows Explorer, then Sometimes, you can press the context menu button which is to the left of the right control key, and arrow until you find the word, "eject." Then press enter. It will be safe to remove the thumb drive from your computer. If you don't find the eject, just press esc, and do the following: It can be found in the system tray. Just tab from the desktop until you get to the system tray. Arrow up to "safely remove hardware" and press enter. Windows will tell you it is safe to remove the hardware, so you can then remove the thumb drive.

With xp pro and win eyes 7.2, and using a thumb drive, I had the choice of stopping and doing a safe remove of the thumb drive.
In windows 7 I can find no choice to do a safe remove of the thumb drive.
So, I just pulled it out, and I am sure this is not a good idea.
Any help in finding where the remove safe can be found?
It does not come up in the sys tray.
Thanks
Don
