not quite true. you can backup to as many drives as you want even a flash drive if it is large enough. it clones the c drive so you can boot from the backup. even from the u s b port if your computer bios supports booting from a u s b device. you could use a partitioned tarabyte drive and backup the drive into each partition if you want. only the main partition would have to have a full backup because the computer would use the main partition to boot from. when useing the c drive you can view all of the files with normal windows commands and restore individual files from the backup. like if you messed up a word document and want to copy the previous version back to the c drive. you would use the normal copy and paste commands to get the file back. ----- Original Message ----- From: Butch Bussen To: Fran Wise Cc: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, December 01, 2010 7:19 PM Subject: Re: Backup Software
I use image for windows. If I understand casper right, it writes to another drive, but you can't have more than one backup.
