Hi Janet,

WE doesn't have any special keys for creating tables, or anything else in
Word I can think of; it's up to you to use the correct Word menus or
shortcut keys.

I'm using mostly 2003 at work, and I use the insert menu you mentioned to
create a table. if things ever slow down at work, I'm supposed to start
migrating our applications over to 2010, and so I'll get some experience
using the later versions of Word. I'll see then if there's anything which
is especially hard to create in Word, and if so, I'll consider adding
creating such things to my MS Word script, but hopefully none of that will
be necessary.

hth,

Chip

Subject: writing tables with Word 2007
Importance: High

Would someone please tell me how to add a table to a Word 2007 document? I
have read the Word chapter in the manual, and, all it discusses is how to
read tables. I also see that this can be done through the insert tab in
Word, but I'd like to know how to do this using WE. The column I need to
write will consist of 3 rows and 2 columns.

Thanks in advance for your help with this,

Janet
