Under the view menu make sure navigation pane is checked. Then when you tab out of the list of messages in your inbox, for example, you will be on the navigation pane with all of the folders.
Arrow down to search folders. If it is closed press the right arrow key to open the list of search folders. Under there you will find unread mail. Use the windows context menu key and arrow down to open. Press enter. Now you can press the tab key to move into the list of items. This is more or less a filter that will have all of your unread mail under personal folders. Vic -----Original Message----- From: Jim Elsner [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 19, 2011 11:44 AM To: GW Micro Info Subject: Up grading from Outlook xp to 2003 I have recently upgraded my win7 Home Premium machine to Office 2003. In Outlook where can I find the number of unread messages with in a folder. In xp I could read number of messages and unred from the bottom of the window with the mouse. I find this no longer true with 2003. When in a folder I can tab once and find the number of unred messages as well as total number of posts however this does not hold true with all folders. Some of the folders have no information when I tab off the folder. Thanks for any help.
