Even unloading/reloading doesn't seem to do the job and get this, one of the weirdest things I've encountered, now when I open an email in Eudora, whether it is a text only or an HTML email, I have to turn browse mode on before I can read the email. I keep trying to think of something I did that might have triggered this, but there weren't even any stray keystrokes when it started, one minute I was browsing around through different folders and my list of filters in gmail with things behaving normally, suddenly I have to turn browse mode on after deleting a filter I no longer wanted to use and from that point on, I have to turn it on when I open a new window or tab, when I click on a link, and pretty much anything else including now the Eudora quirk I mentioned. I first tried unloading and reloading, turning browse mode on and saving the set file, I've even tried opening the set file as if it wasn't already open, turning browse mode back off and then back on and saving again and nothing works. The only time browse mode is on when anything starts is when I initially open Firefox. The first instance has browse mode on as it is supposed to be, but from then on, it is off whenever I go anywhere else. I just started IE, and it doesn't seem to be affected, but I really hate using IE and the Eudora thing makes me concerned that this problem will spread.

Thanks,

Chris

Subject: sudden Browse mode issues

I was cleaning out my Gmail folders today when out of the blue the
Gmail page stopped returning to browse mode after refreshing when a
button or link is clicked. The pages refresh, but browse mode remains
off and must be manually reentered. On top of this, it seems now that
if I open a link in a new window from any page, not just gmail, the
new page opens with browse mode off. I have tried to save the set
file with browse mode turned on, but it doesn't seem to change
anything. I am using the latest version of WE and the latest official
release of Firefox, version 3.6.13. I found that there was an update
to the Firefox enhance script and updated it just in case, but this
did not help. Anyone else have anything like this occur? Any idea how
to fix this?

Thanks,

Chris
