I tried that and nothing changed, but I've found out something else since.
My Winamp problems seem to be about Skype and Winamp running simultaneously,
and I suspect some problem between the Beta and Skype. 
Although I have mouse navigation in the Skype window and not in Winamp, when
I shut down Skype, I get my Winamp access back, complete with the W-E
control panel short cut key, and mouse navigation. Very strange.  So Skype
and the Beta seem to be my problem right now, not Winamp or your scripts for
either.
