Alright this is another question and I am very open to
suggestions. Does anyone here use a third party file search
utility. Windows search was doing great for awhile and now is not
finding files I know I have. I'm rebuilding my index which is going to
literally take days since I have about 950 gb of music between four
hard drives. I tried google desktop, totally not accessible which is
too bad cause it sounded like exactly what I needed. Also have tried
locate32 which locked up my system, no dice there. Lastly, have tried
agent ransack, but again, not very accessible. It is really annoying
to have files you know are there and have them not show up in a
search.
So any suggestions are more than welcome. Gotta love windows saying,
indexing is being slowed down by user activity when I'm not doing
anything with the machine, even it's own processes slow it down.
