I have my Thunderbird set to open everything in separate windows, for
example you press return on a message you wish to read and a new widnow
opens for that message.
You reply to that message and a new window opens.
When the delete key is pressed on a message you have open: the message
is deleted, the window closes and you're back in the previous open window.
