Thanks for your suggestions. Clearing the cache, disc clean-up, and defragging helped. I still have the issue of the previous position not holding on a web page. For example, on the Amazon web page, and also on the MP3 music store at Real Networks, after playing a sample, I am sent back to the top of the page. The only work-around for this is to check the line number and use the Window-Eyes Read Any Line key to go back to it. This forces several extra keystrokes, and I forget to do it. I am using Window-Eyes 7.5 beta and Windows XP SP3. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
