Hello.
I am running the IE9 candidate. I am getting lots of extra information
on the page that was not there in other versions of IE and it is making
my browsing less than friendly. The example below is typical. The nice
thing about this particular page is that there is only one line which
reads when I first open IE9. I have closed all WE apps and that is not
the problem. Is there some setting in IE which needs to be changed to
make this not show up? Here is the example:
Google Accessible Search
//<!--
document.f.q.focus();
//-->
Search
Advanced Search
Accessible Web Search for the Visually Impaired
Google Home

document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost +
"google-analytics.com/ga.js'
type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-4569244-1");
pageTracker._initData();
pageTracker._trackPageview();
var agt = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase();
var is_ie = ((agt.indexOf("msie") != -1) && (agt.indexOf("opera") == -1));
if (!is_ie){
var form = document.getElementById('f');
form.action = 'http://google.com/search';
var param = document.getElementsByName('cx')[0];
param.name = 'esrch';
Sometimes, there are lines all through the web page and it makes it very
awkward to read. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Carol
