Hi Sandra,

I'm sure this is on a page you can google for, but here are the critical
pieces of info:

incoming mail server: mail.comcast.net
outgoing mail server: smtp.comcast.net

do not choose to login using secure password authentication (this will be a
checkbox.

you will have to find a tab for the outgoing server, there should be a
checkbox which says "my outgoing server requires authentication", and you
should check it. this then activates a radio button, which lets you set it
to "use same settings as my incoming server".

finally, you need to set the port numbers for each server:

incoming: 110
outgoing 587:

do not set either to use a ssl connection.

hth,

Chip
