Running XP with all updates and W E 7.5, I find that my preset hotkeys do
not apply in outlook express. Further, attempts to define a hotkey while in
O E fail. For example, I can go to the mouse menu and try to re-define
current clip. It says the current setting. I tab and it says global. Tab
again and I get to the capture key box. Type in the key and it immediately
jumps out of the menu and repeats the original setting. I had redefined
several keys on this computer because it will not accept some of the
combinations in the default configurations. Using the fn-key with another
key and say a control or insert key won't work.
When not in O E, all keys work as I have assigned them. The problem seems
mainly to be when using outlook express.
