hi,
i am finding out many of the problems only show up when logged in as a
standard user.
the 4 second delay before w e will speak when opening notepad and wordpad
documents
no focus the first time i open windows mail. and i can not get w e focus on
it until i close windows mail and re load it.
read to end.
these problems don't happen as administrator.
but i do not want to be logged on as administrator. its not as safe on the
net.

If you disable the Read to Me app, does read-to-end work again?
We haven't seen any of these other issues. Which antivirus/spyware
software are you running?

most of my converted set files are speaking line bars in list views and
the search box in the web ferret internet search program. i also have to
redraw the screen before i can backspace over letters in the search box
without it dinging at me.

its not because windows mail does not have focus. i am aware of this and
i use to be able to left click the mouse on the screen to put focus on
it to make it speak.
but this does not work anymore with w e 7.5. nothing i do will work

with note pad and loading text files.
it takes about4 seconds before w e will respond with speech after i load
the file.
then the w e functions will start working.
i did uninstall the windows mail, notepad,wordpad,openbook,windows
explorer,i e, and firefox set file completely and re install them with
no difference.
my own set files that were converted are going to have to be re created
because many of do not work the way they use to.

It works on all of the machines we have tested so far, though it
presently does not in Firefox 4. Which OS are you running?
