Typed in www.google.com into that bar and pressed enter. I was taken to the google site. I then found the google search edit box and pressed enter to turn off browse mode. I then typed in my search querry and tabbed to google search button and pressed enter which automatically turned browse mode back on without me having to do anything. Mhy information came up. That's all there was to it. I had no problem typing in the information. When I tabbed to the search button and hit enter, browse mode came back on as it is supposed to do. This was done on my Asus netbook but I can say that I don't have any problems either on our Toshiba laptop or on an HP desk top at work. Two of these machines are XP and one is Vista. The specs for the home machines are in my signature. The work machine is running I.E. 7 and is on a network. Antivirus software is also not causing any problems with this. Just a thought for those who seem to be having problems.
